Cheers & Jeers: Rizzoli & Isles Jackie, Oh No!

Jacqueline Bissett Jeers to Rizzoli & Isles for squandering the ample talents of Jacqueline Bisset. Want more Cheers & Jeers? Subscribe to TV Guide Magazine. The sexiest senior citizen alive (can you believe she's 66?) brought a touch of class - as opposed to costar Lorraine Bracco's touch of crass - to TNT's corn-chowder crime drama as Constance Isles, Maura's jet-setting, air-kissing mother. The real crime: R&I utilized Bisset in only a few brief scenes, choosing to focus on a silly case involving a sniper and Revolutionary War re-enactors. Among the history buffs was Richard Thomas, but even John-Boy got minimal screen time. Instead, we were treated to the ridiculous sight of Rizzoli and Isles dressed up in King George III-era garb for a historically themed shindig. At least Bisset was nowhere to be seen in this scene - the Brit must've known better than to RSVP for that lukewarm Boston tea party.
